Job summary

AECOM is seeking a capable project controls professional to support cost forecasting, budgeting and schedule integration across infrastructure projects in the UK. The role involves using MS Project and Primavera P6, preparing cost analyses, and assisting in change management and reporting to stakeholders.

You will work closely with a Project Manager, lead meetings, and ensure alignment of funding, resources and expenditures with project goals.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with experience in project controls and cost management.
• Proactive mindset and ability to lead meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with schedule development, baselining, and change control.
• Ability to forecast resource demand, budgets and track progress against plans.
• Knowledge of earned value, cost trending, and invoicing review processes.

Responsibilities

• Use cost data formats to control projects and support baseline data.
• Prepare revised cost forecasts and analyze progress trends and cost impact.
• Review contractor invoices and assist in cost reporting for stakeholders.
• Maintain schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6 and ensure WBS integrity.
• Support project cost reviews and change management activities.
