Job summary

AECOM in Glasgow is seeking a proactive Project Cost Controller to join our project controls team. You will manage cost data, forecast budgets, monitor earned value, and provide performance insights to project leaders.

You'll work with MS Project and Primavera P6 to develop baseline schedules, track variances, and prepare expenditure forecasts. The role demands strong financial literacy, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across disciplines in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project cost discussions and meetings.
• Ability to create integrated project schedules with MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Familiarity with earned value monitoring and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare revised cost forecasts for accounts.
• Analyze progress trends and cost impact; review contractor invoices.
• Track manpower, labor hours, and costs against budget; produce variance analysis.
• Support baseline data creation and change control for projects.
• Produce progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
