Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated team player to contribute to the pharmacy service. You will help deliver essential pharmacy services and assist with dispensing medicines to wards, departments and patients.

You'll welcome patients at the hatch, manage stock, be trained in the EPIC system, and provide occasional home deliveries and ward topping up support.

Responsibilities

• To welcome customers at the hatch and process receipt of their prescription
• To rotate and put away stock ensuring the Dispensary remains tidy and is a safe working environment
• The post holder will be trained in the use of the epic system to receipt prescriptions
• To send medicines to patients/carers home address
• The post holder will be required to provide un-planned cover for the ward topping up service
• To assist with Dispensing activities
• Deliver medicines to the wards when required

Job description
