Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated pharmacy services assistant to support essential dispensary duties. You will assist with dispensing, welcome customers at the hatch, process prescriptions, and ensure medicines are delivered to wards and patients’ homes when required.

The role involves EPIC system training, stock rotation, and potential cover for ward topping up. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for this hospital environment.

Formación

• Educational background including Maths and English demonstrated.
• Commitment to NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.
• Good communication and teamwork as essential requirements.
• Experience with EPIC pharmacy system is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome customers at the hatch and process prescription receipts.
• Rotate and store stock to keep the dispensary tidy and safe.
• Be trained in EPIC to receipt prescriptions.
• Send medicines to patients or carers' home address.
• Provide unplanned cover for ward topping up service and assist with dispensing and delivery to wards.
