Job summary

Birmingham City Council is seeking a Senior Performance Officer to join the PFI Contract Services team. You will monitor highway maintenance and management contracts, analyse performance data, and provide management information to drive decision-making and improvements.

The role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met and services are delivered to high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance reporting, data analysis and identifying opportunities for service improvement.
• Experience working within a performance-driven, contract management, infrastructure or public sector environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse service provider performance against contractual requirements.
• Produce performance reports and management information to support contract management and payment processes.
• Audit and verify performance data, identifying underperformance and recommending appropriate remedial actions.
• Support the management of contract compliance and service delivery standards.
• Monitor service provider programmes, proposals, reports, and associated performance information.
• Help maintain effective systems, processes, and data management arrangements to support contract administration.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational and performance issues.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and support the delivery of excellent customer-focused services.
