Portfolio HR & Reward are supporting a leading, adaptive business that are currently seeking a HR Business Partner for a 12-month FTC. The role can be based in Manchester or London, with a minimum of 2 days on site.

You will partner with Group Directors to align HR strategy with business plans, lead workforce planning, talent management and pay reviews, and drive organisational design and change initiatives while mitigating risk.

Portfolio HR & Reward are supporting a leading, adaptive business that are currently seeking a HR Business Partner to join them on a 12-month FTC.

This role can be based in Manchester or London, and requires a minimum of 2 days per week on site.

The successful candidate will receive a salary between £60,000 and £73,000.

Key responsibilities

• Acting as a trusted partner to Group Directors, aligning business plans with HR strategies and executing core people cycles i.e. workforce planning, talent management, and pay reviews.
• Lead end-to-end organisational design and complex change initiatives, removing operational barriers, minimising risk, and supporting career mobility.
• Work closely with CoEs sharing data-driven insights, mitigating implementation risks, and developing HR Frameworks.

Ideal candidate experience

• Proven track record of partnering at a Senior Executive level, with the ability to challenge decisions, manage stakeholder demands, and coach leadership teams.
• Strong capability to analyse the bigger picture, identify potential organizational risks early, and implement proactive course-correction plans.
• Be available immediately or on a short notice.
