Job summary

Portfolio HR & Reward are supporting a leading, adaptive business that are seeking a HR Business Partner to join them on a 12-month FTC. This role can be based in Manchester or London, and requires a minimum of 2 days per week on site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with Group Directors, aligning business plans with HR strategies, and executing core people cycles including workforce planning, talent management, and pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Executive-level partnering experience.
• Ability to coach leadership teams and manage complex stakeholder demands.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted partner to Group Directors, aligning HR plans with business strategies and executing core people cycles (workforce planning, talent management, pay reviews).
• Lead end-to-end organisational design and complex change initiatives, removing barriers and supporting career mobility.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence, sharing data-driven insights, mitigating risks, and developing HR frameworks.

The successful candidate will receive a salary between £60,000 and £73,000.

As a successful HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

• Acting as a trusted partner to Group Directors, aligning business plans with HR strategies and executing core people cycles i.e. workforce planning, talent management, and pay reviews.
• Lead end-to-end organisational design and complex change initiatives, removing operational barriers, minimising risk, and supporting career mobility.
• Work closely with CoEs sharing data-driven insights, mitigating implementation risks, and developing HR Frameworks.

The ideal HR Business Partner will have experience in the following:

• Proven track record of partnering at a Senior Executive level, with the ability to challenge decisions, manage stakeholder demands, and coach leadership teams.
• Strong capability to analyse the bigger picture, identify potential organizational risks early, and implement proactive course-correction plans.
• Be available immediately or on a short notice.
