Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a London-based Senior Analyst, People Insights, to serve as the regional quantitative modeler and data storyteller for the EMEA & APAC HR functions.

You will translate workforce challenges into analytics projects, build models for attrition and talent forecasting, and present outputs to leadership with clear narratives. This role emphasizes data integrity, GDPR compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in People Analytics or HR Data Science in a consultative/technical capacity.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, or similar data visualization and manipulation tools.
• Strong expertise in advanced analytics and statistical modeling.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Partner with EMEA & APAC HR and business leaders to translate complex workforce challenges into actionable, hypothesis-driven analytical projects.
• Design, build and validate predictive statistical models (e.g., attrition, headcount, talent forecasting) to drive strategy.
• Translate complex quantitative outputs into clear, compelling narratives tailored for non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with the People team to identify process optimization opportunities through data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain high data integrity via regular audits while ensuring ethical, transparent handling of sensitive information in compliance with GDPR and local regulations.
• Support regional compliance by extracting, cleaning and validating workforce datasets under tight deadlines.
• Proactively evolve our analytics capabilities by identifying improved methods, tools and emerging AI solutions to strengthen the people analytics function.
