Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a London-based Senior Analyst in People Insights to serve as the regional quantitative modeler for EMEA & APAC. You will build models for attrition and headcount and translate outputs into clear narratives for leadership, while ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance.

The role requires strong analytics, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with HR data systems and ETL workflows. This is a high-visibility position within the People team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in People Analytics or HR Data Science in a consultative/technical capacity.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, or similar data visualization and manipulation tools.
• Strong expertise in advanced analytics and statistical modeling.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors or Oracle, as well as a solid understanding of core HR processes and People data.
• Ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable advice.

Responsibilities

• Partner with EMEA & APAC HR and business leaders to translate complex workforce challenges into actionable, hypothesis-driven analytical projects.
• Design, build and validate predictive statistical models (e.g., attrition, headcount, talent forecasting) to drive strategy.
• Translate complex quantitative outputs into clear, compelling narratives tailored for non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with the People team to identify process optimization opportunities through data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain high data integrity via regular audits while ensuring ethical, transparent handling of sensitive information in compliance with GDPR and local regulations.
• Support regional compliance by extracting, cleaning and validating workforce datasets under tight deadlines.
• Proactively evolve our analytics capabilities by identifying improved methods, tools and emerging AI solutions to strengthen the people analytics function.
