Job summary

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in the UK is seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator to support a portfolio of occupational pension schemes (DB, DC and Hybrid).

You will ensure member cases are handled accurately and on time, while supporting the Client Executive team and mentoring junior staff. You will contribute to delivering high-quality service to scheme members, manage complex queries, and collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DB, DC or Hybrid pensions administration.
• CPC qualification or working towards one.
• Strong analytical skills and logical problem solving.
• Good attention to detail and accurate data handling.
• Strong time management and prioritisation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident in giving constructive feedback within a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Administer pension scheme cases accurately within agreed timescales.
• Complete and check manual and automated calculations.
• Draft and review member letters, reports and other correspondence.
• Manage pensioner payrolls, cashflows, investments, disinvestments and invoices.
• Handle non-standard member and client queries with care and judgement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support teams to deliver service.
• Support client meetings and new business pitches as needed.
• Supervise and train up to two pensions administrators.
• Manage workload and peer review time to keep work moving.
