Job summary

Equiniti is seeking a Senior Pensions Technical Analyst in Crawley for a hybrid role. You will lead complex Defined Benefit pension scheme events, ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance, and work with clients, members and internal stakeholders.

The role focuses on delivering actuarial valuations, scheme events, and ad-hoc projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within UK Defined Benefit pensions administration.
• Strong understanding of DB pension legislation and historic scheme rules.
• Experience managing annual pension scheme events and actuarial valuations.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and deadlines in a regulated environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong stakeholder management with clients, members and senior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Defined Benefit pension scheme events including ABS and GMP reviews.
• Coordinate actuarial valuation activities and data queries.
• Deliver ad-hoc pension projects while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Support governance, risk management and operational controls across schemes.
• Explain complex DB legislation to clients and internal teams.
