Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in Redhill is seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator to join our Outsourcing team on a hybrid basis. You will manage complex DB/DC pension calculations, handle retirements, transfers, and deaths, and mentor junior colleagues while ensuring high-quality client service.

You will utilise expertise in pension legislation and DB calculations, maintaining accuracy across a busy workload and collaborating within a multi-site team.

Qualifications

• Experience in OT&E Pension administration including Retirements, Transfers and Deaths.
• Knowledge of pension legislation and regulations and applying them within an admin team.
• Experience with DB manual calculations for pension schemes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and check others’ work.
• Ability to handle high volumes while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to manage multiple client queries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coaching less experienced colleagues.
• Hybrid/multi-site team experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processes complex pension calculations and queries for DB/DC schemes.
• Mentors and checks work of junior colleagues to ensure accuracy and targets.
• Acts as escalation point for technical issues and client concerns.
• Applies pension legislation and WTW guidance to day-to-day work.
• Supports Team Leader to meet SLAs and manage workload.
• Coaches and develops junior staff and shares knowledge.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance client service.
• Assists in complex and project work when required.
