Job summary

Brightwell is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst in Chesterfield to provide specialist technical support on pension projects, handling complex member casework and data-driven calculations. You will work with the Member Services teams to ensure accurate outcomes and compliant processes.

This role offers hybrid working, a strong focus on defined-benefit pensions, and opportunities to contribute to system improvements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in pensions with a defined benefit focus.
• Ability to communicate complex technical pension, legislative and data-related information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for bulk project work including data analysis and system updates.
• Carry out calculations, validate data and support the member services teams with complex cases.
• Support pension administration system amendments ensuring alignment with rules and legislation.
• Develop and maintain calculation tools for testing and non-system calculations.
• Monitor and enhance controls to mitigate risks across Brightwell schemes.
• Liaise with Legal to communicate regulatory developments and ensure compliance.
• Develop specialist knowledge of processes, system specs and data for expert support.
• Adhere to Data Protection, Health and Safety and Quality Management procedures.
