Job summary

Brightwell seeks a Technical Services Manager to provide technical pensions support across projects and member services teams. You will manage complex casework, oversee scheme events, and act as the technical lead on regulatory issues, working closely with Legal, Risk & Compliance teams.

The role requires strong pensions knowledge, MS Office proficiency, and excellent communication. A PMI pension qualification and leadership experience are highly desirable as part of a broad, collaborative

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within a pensions administration function.
• In-depth knowledge of Scheme rules, pensions legislation and related practices.
• Strong numeric, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Trustee committees and ensure processes and casework are well-documented.
• Be the primary contact with Legal and external parties on scheme issues.
• Manage scheme events and provide technical oversight on regulatory projects.
• Lead the complaints handling process and provide reporting on trends.
• Review calculations, validate data and support complex cases.
• Keep up to date with legislation, disseminating changes to the team.
