Job summary

Brightwell is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to provide specialist technical support on pensions projects, with a focus on defined benefit schemes. You will assist with complex member casework, complaints handling and supporting the core Member Services teams.

You will analyse data, run bulk calculations, support system amendments and develop calculation tools, while ensuring compliance with scheme rules, legislation and Brightwell policies.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in pensions with a defined benefit focus.
• Proven ability to analyse complex data and perform technical calculations.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience supporting calculation tools and system changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for bulk project work, including data analysis and system updates.
• Carry out calculations, validate data and support core teams with complex cases.
• Support pension administration system amendments to calculations and data tables.
• Develop and maintain calculation tools for testing and non-system calculations.
• Assist with monitoring and enhancing operational and system controls to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with Legal to stay updated on legislation and regulation.
