Job summary

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Peer Support Worker for the Southern Gambling Service. This part-time role (22.5 hours per week) is predominantly remote from home, with occasional in-person meetings at College Keep or Trust sites in Hampshire.

You will use lived experience of gambling difficulties and recovery to provide hope, empathy and practical peer support, helping to reduce stigma and improve access to treatment across localities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hope and empathy using lived experience of gambling recovery through peer support, dialogue and role modelling.
• Coordinate day-to-day peer support activity with the other Senior Peer Support Worker to ensure consistency across localities.
• Participate in guidance/supervision and input into peer support provision; attend mandatory training and travel to Trust sites as required.
