Job summary

GamCare is seeking a Gambling Support Practitioner to help individuals in the East Midlands regain control and progress toward recovery. You’ll deliver person-centred interventions through face-to-face, telephone and digital contacts, build trusted relationships and manage a regional caseload.

You will bring relevant qualifications or practical experience in health, social care or addiction services, with CBT-informed and Motivational Interviewing skills.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be empathetic and resilient, with the ability to support recovery.
• Experience in health, social care, mental health or addiction services is desirable.
• Familiarity with CBT-informed approaches and motivational interviewing is important.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred interventions via face-to-face, telephone and digital support.
• Assess needs, manage a caseload and develop personalised recovery plans.
• Work with partners to ensure safe, effective and coordinated support.
