Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Pavement Engineer to join its growing pavement consultancy team. You will lead technical delivery across diverse projects including highways, airports, ports and research initiatives, ensuring design life and sustainability improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Certified Pavement Engineer preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of pavement design principles (Flexible, Rigid and Composite).
• Experience with earthworks and pavement materials (Concrete, Asphalt and Hydraulically Bound Materials).
• Experience using UK and/or international standards for pavement design in highways, airfields, ports and other applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of pavement engineering design and research projects.
• Prepare and review technical reports and project design packages.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery to high quality standards.
• Enhance client and industry relationships with stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor team members to develop technical skills and careers.
