Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Principal Pavement Engineer in the UK to lead a wide range of highway, airfield and industrial pavement projects. You will deliver technical design and research work, report writing, and client-facing communications within a collaborative, innovative practice.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with pavement knowledge, and ideally a (certified) pavement engineer credential. Hybird working and professional development are supported.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
• Certified Pavement Engineer preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of flexible, rigid and composite pavements.
• Experience with UK/intl pavement standards and materials.
• Ability to manage and deliver projects with client focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead challenging pavement design and research projects.
• Deliver technical reports and design packages on time and budget.
• Develop client relationships and promote pavement assets.
• Coach and mentor team members in technical careers.
• Ensure safety, welfare, quality and environmental requirements.
