Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Senior Patient Administrator for West Middlesex University Hospital. The role runs Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and focuses on delivering calm, proactive administrative support to patients, clinicians and admin staff.

You will act as a key communication hub, coordinating with the Rheumatology team and other healthcare professionals, and you may provide cross-cover with fellow Band 4 colleagues to ensure continuity during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Calm yet proactive approach with the ability to multi-task.
• Effective communication with patients, staff and clinicians.
• Ability to work within a Band 4 team and cross-cover.
• Good understanding of Cerner where possible.
• Employment subject to NHS eligibility and probation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for admin staff, clinicians and patients.
• Ensure clear, timely communication and liaise with stakeholders.
• Provide cross-cover within Band 4 team to maintain service continuity.
• Support Cerner-based administrative processes where possible.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
