Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Senior Patient Administrator for the Queen Marys Maternity Unit, West Middlesex University Hospital, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm. The post holder will act as a focal point for Admin staff, clinicians and patients, ensuring clear, timely communication and a high standard of service.

• Calm, proactive admin professional with ability to multi-task.
• Act as focal point of communication between patients and healthcare staff.
• Lead orientation and induction of new staff and provide supervision.
• Experience with Cerner or willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Assist Team Leader with staff management and workload prioritisation.
• Ensure enquiries are dealt with promptly, politely and confidentially.
• Proactively manage patient pathways to maintain high service standards.
• Maintain Cerner data, DNAs and discharges in a timely manner.
• Produce accurate theatre lists and schedule appointments in liaison with clinicians.
• Liaise with clinicians to optimise theatre lists and staffing.
