Are you a Nurse looking for a challenging and rewarding new environment?Our client is a leading UK charity dedicated to supporting children with brain injuries and neurodisabilities and is looking for an experienced Senior Paediatric Nurse. This role offers a competitive salary up to £50,500 per annum. You'll have the chance to work within a supportive environment that priorities children's happiness above all.

Our client is the UK's foremost charity dedicated to children with brain injuries and neurodisabilities. They provide a wide range of services, including rehabilitation, medical care, and special education, all aimed at improving the lives of children and their families. Their work is supported by partnerships with the NHS and local authorities, ensuring comprehensive care and support.

As a Senior Paediatric Nurse, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses (Band 5) and Children’s Support Assistants
  • Ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Create empowering environments for children and families
  • Conduct assessments and care planning collaboratively with families
  • Support team development and engage with research opportunities
  • Manage staff performance and development
  • Deputise for the House Manager when needed

Package and Benefits:
The Senior Paediatric Nurse role comes with:
  • An annual salary of up to £50,697
  • 37.5 hours per week (mixed shifts only)
  • 35 days inclusive of Public/Bank Holidays

The ideal candidate for the Senior Paediatric Nurse position will have:

  • Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care
  • Experience supporting and mentoring other members of staff
