Birmingham Children's Hospital is seeking an Advanced Physiotherapist to join our specialist burns centre within the Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. The role covers care for paediatric patients on PICU, on the ward and in outpatient settings, with scope to contribute to service development and staff development.

Qualifications

• Advanced Physiotherapist with Burns specialty.
• Experience treating paediatric patients including PICU, inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership and involvement in CPD portfolio development.

Responsabilités

• Assess and treat children with burn injuries and complex plastics patients in PICU, ward and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with dermatology for epidermolysis bullosa cases and with orthopaedic team for integrated care.
• Provide professional leadership for the Physiotherapy department and define indicators of a high-quality service.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a cohesive Burns and Plastics service.
