Birmingham Children’s Hospital in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Paediatric Rotational Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. You will gain experience across a wide range of paediatric specialties through rotations and work with Advanced Physiotherapists.

The post offers varied rotations (including PICU, neurology, respiratory, cardiothoracics, orthopaedics, and more), opportunities for service development, supervision of staff, and participation in emergency out-of-hours rota.

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy (MCSP)
• HCPC Registration
• Paediatric and/or Cardiorespiratory experience in a variety of settings
• Demonstrable experience of supervising staff/students

Mansioni

• Provide an effective and efficient physiotherapy service across the designated area.
• Rotate through specialty areas to improve paediatric skills.
• Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of own work including complex paediatric physiotherapy intervention.
• Provide effective and efficient physiotherapy interventions in accordance with clinical guidelines and Trust policies and procedures.
• Participate in audit/research to promote quality standards and evidence-based practice.
• Undertake comprehensive assessment of patients and plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
• Keep up to date with clinical issues and undertake development activities to maintain competence.
• Manage, supervise, train and support others.
• Participate in emergency on-call, weekend and evening service for 24-hour cover.
