Egis is seeking a Principal Engineer (P&C) in the United Kingdom to lead the review, assessment and approval of Protection and Control designs for National Grid and DNO projects. You will ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements while coordinating with contractors and internal teams to deliver safe, reliable designs.

Experience in UK electricity transmission/distribution is preferred. The role involves design review meetings, risk mitigations, and documentation, with

Qualificações

• Proven experience in Protection & Control design, design assurance or technical approval.
• Strong knowledge of HV infrastructure including substations, transformers and HV cables.

Responsabilidades

• Review and approve P&C design submissions in line with National Grid / DNO standards.
• Coordinate with National Grid / DNO, contractors and internal teams to ensure design alignment.
• Identify safety, reliability and performance risks and propose mitigations.
• Maintain records of submissions, comments and approvals and prepare assurance documentation.
