Job summary

Egis is looking for a Principal Engineer (HV Plant) to join their team in the UK. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving HV Plant designs, ensuring compliance with National Grid standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in HV infrastructure.

This full-time position may include the option to work from Omnia offices or remotely, with a competitive salary and benefits including medical insurance and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HV Plant design and assurance.
• Strong knowledge of HV infrastructure including substations and switchgear.
• Experience working on National Grid or DNO projects.

Responsibilities

• Review HV plant design submissions for compliance.
• Provide feedback on design gaps and risks.
• Approve final designs after meeting all requirements.
