Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Team Lead Occupational Therapist to oversee the Integrated Discharge Team at Conquest Hospital in St Leonards-on-Sea. The role focuses on developing discharge pathways, coordinating OT services and leading a Band 6-7 team.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy.
• Health and Care Professions Council registration.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Experience in leadership and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes occupational therapy with acute care focus and specialist expertise.
• Line management for planning, coordinating and evaluating the OT team in IDT at Conquest.
• Participate in pooled budget meetings within Integrated Community Equipment Service.
• Ensure Clinical Governance within the Integrated Discharge Team.
• Assist with recruitment, appraisal and CPD in line with Trust policies.
