Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a HCPC-registered Physio or Occupational Therapist to lead innovative therapy pathways across acute and community settings. You will work with MDTs to redesign discharge processes, embed bed strategy investments and support staff development with strong leadership and change management.

The role requires experience in acute, community or integrated care, and a commitment to Home First with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

HCPC-registered Physio or Occupational Therapist.
Band 8a experienced advanced-level clinician.
Band 7 motivated clinician committed to AP development.
Experience in acute, community or integrated care.
Strong leadership, communication and QI skills.
Commitment to Home First and flexible working.

Responsibilities

Lead pathway redesign to modernise therapy input and streamline discharge.
Embed new Bed strategy investments supporting enhanced rehab and improved flow.
Work flexibly across pathways.
Champion patient and family involvement in care planning and transitions.
Provide advanced clinical leadership, supporting MDT decision-making and staff development.
