We are seeking passionate and skilled Senior Optometrists to join our expanding Ophthalmology team at the new purpose-built Eye Centre. This role involves supporting pre-operative assessments for cataract surgery and conducting post-operative reviews independently.
Our Ophthalmology department is the largest in Scotland, featuring advanced equipment such as OCT, Topography, Specular Microscope, Ultrasound, and digital Slit lamps. The Eye Centre is designed around an innovative patient pathway, utilizing a multidisciplinary team including healthcare assistants, ophthalmic technicians, registered nurses, optometrists, and Consultant Ophthalmologists.
The centre is located on the banks of the River Clyde, offering scenic views and easy access from the main hospital entrance.
We welcome applications from optometrists with experience in community and/or hospital settings, capable of assessing a broad range of eye conditions and demonstrating diverse clinical skills.
