Job summary

Infinity Resource Solutions seeks a Senior Service Engineer for Electronic Security Systems. This field-based role covers London and the Southeast (Head Office in Amersham). You will maintain CCTV, intruder alarms and access control, troubleshoot issues, and ensure service levels are met.

Salary £45k-£50k doe with 25 days holiday plus birthday and bank holidays. Benefits include private healthcare post-probation, a pension, fuel/IT/mobile provisions, and a 24‑hour on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Proven experience maintaining and repairing security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control).
• Experience with IP-based security systems and related software.
• Industry qualifications favorable (18th edition/NVQ/City and Guilds/BTEC).
• BS7858 Security Screening and DBS/SC clearance awareness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of security systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform reactive service visits to meet contracted SLAs.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance visits as required by SLAs.
• Provide client support and advice on security systems and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate service records.
• Collaborate with service admin and engineering teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Be available for standby on a call-out rota.
• Mentor and develop the service engineering team as the business grows.

Senior Service Engineer - Electronic Security Systems

Primary Location

Field Based role covering London and the Southeast predominantly (Head Office - Amersham)

Salary

• Base salary - £45-£50K
• Travel - from 45 mins each way
• On Call 1 in 4 (Hardly any callouts) £200 p/w
• Holiday - 25 days plus extra day on birthday and bank hols.

Job Summary

• Perform regular maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of security systems to ensure optimal functionality. Diagnose and rectify faults quickly, effectively and efficiently.
• Perform reactive service visits as required to meet contracted customers service level agreements.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance visits as required in line with contracted customers service level agreements.
• Provide support and advice to clients regarding their security systems, addressing queries and offering solutions to resolve issues.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reactive service and planned preventive maintenance reports.
• Work closely with the service administration and engineering teams to ensure we deliver exceptional service to our clients.
• To be available for standby on a call out Rota, as required within the team.
• As the business grows manage and mentor service engineering team

Knowledge & Experience

• Proven experience maintaining and repairing security systems, such as CCTV, intruder alarms and access control.
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing enterprise level systems such as LenelS2, Gallagher, C-Cure etc.
• Experience with IP-based security systems, networks and security systems software applications.
• Relevant industry and manufacturing training is favorable.
• Relevant industry qualifications such as 18th edition/NVQ/City and Guilds/BTEC is favorable.

Role Specific

• Participate in a 24-hour emergency call out Rota system
