Job summary

Acorn Engineering Limited in Slough is seeking an experienced AGM to join our leadership team, with responsibility for driving business performance, client relationships, and operational excellence. The role reports to the Operations Director and oversees a portfolio of accounts, including travel to client sites.

You will lead Contract Managers, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company values.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior account management or operational leadership role
• Track record of managing multiple contracts or accounts

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the performance of assigned contracts, including service delivery, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes
• Lead, develop, and support Contract Managers to deliver consistent, high-quality results
• Build and maintain strong senior-level client relationships, acting as the key escalation point
• Identify opportunities for account growth, retention, and service improvement
• Drive operational performance through KPI management, resource planning, and continuous improvement
• Work closely with senior leadership to contribute to strategic planning and business growth
• Champion a positive, high-performance culture built on accountability and professionalism
