Acorn Engineering Limited seeks an Area General Manager to oversee a portfolio of contracts across Birmingham and surrounding areas. You will drive operational excellence, commercial growth and exceptional client satisfaction while leading multiple sites and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strategic leadership with hands-on management, strong financial oversight and a proven ability to win new work and expand services across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior management or area leadership within a service-led environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to grow contract value.
• Proven track record delivering multi-site operations and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver contract financial plans to achieve targets.
• Drive retention, re-win opportunities and additional services.
• Lead sales, tender processes and contract mobilisation.
• Build relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as escalation point.
• Provide leadership to operational teams and ensure KPI targets are met.
• Champion continuous improvement across responsibilities.
