Job Description:

Coopman Search and Selection is partnering exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role pivotal for onboarding portfolio managers and their trading strategies within the organization. It requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an understanding of trading and hedge fund environments. The role also covers broader middle office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Establish trading accounts aligned with counterparty requirements.
• Oversee data integration, execution workflows, and performance monitoring setups.
• Document and configure trading systems and platforms.
• Develop onboarding project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the main contact for onboarding queries and update stakeholders regularly.
• Coordinate with brokers, exchanges, and data providers for smooth onboarding.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address their needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and relevant financial/operational software; OMS/EMS experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and regions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
