Job Description:

Coopman Search and Selection is partnering exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role that plays a pivotal part in onboarding portfolio managers and their trading strategies within the organization. It requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an interest in trading and hedge funds. The role also encompasses broader middle office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Establish trading accounts and ensure compliance with counterparty requirements.
• Oversee data integrations, workflows, and performance monitoring setups.
• Document and configure trading systems and platforms.
• Create and maintain onboarding project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the main contact for onboarding queries and update stakeholders regularly.
• Coordinate with brokers, exchanges, and data providers for smooth onboarding.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address their needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and relevant financial software; experience with OMS/EMS systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and regions.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
