Job Description:

Coopman Search and Selection is partnering exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role that plays a pivotal part in onboarding portfolio managers and their trading strategies within the organization. It requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an understanding or interest in trading and hedge funds. The role also encompasses broader middle office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Facilitate trading account establishment and ensure counterparty alignment.
• Oversee data integration, execution workflows, and performance monitoring setups.
• Document and configure trading systems and platforms appropriately.
• Develop and maintain onboarding project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary contact for onboarding queries and provide stakeholder updates.
• Coordinate with brokers, exchanges, and data providers for smooth onboarding.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address their needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and relevant financial software; OMS/EMS experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse teams and regions.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
