Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to partner exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role crucial for onboarding portfolio managers and their trading strategies within the organization. It requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an understanding or interest in trading and hedge funds. The role also encompasses broader middle office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Establish trading accounts and ensure they meet counterparty requirements.
• Oversee data integrations, workflows, and performance monitoring setups.
• Document and configure trading systems and platforms.
• Maintain onboarding project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the main contact for onboarding queries and update stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external brokers, exchanges, and data providers.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address their needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and other relevant software; OMS/EMS experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
