Job Description:

Coopman Search and Selection is partnering exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role crucial for onboarding portfolio managers (PMs) and their trading strategies within the organization. It requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an understanding of the trading and hedge fund environment, with broader responsibilities across middle office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Establish trading accounts aligned with counterparty requirements.
• Oversee data integrations, execution workflows, and performance monitoring setups.
• Document and configure trading systems and platforms.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary contact for onboarding queries and updates.
• Coordinate with brokers, exchanges, and data providers for smooth onboarding.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and relevant financial software; experience with OMS/EMS systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
