Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Senior Operational Trainer to build our new operation from the ground up. You will lead a team of Operational Trainers, delivering inductions, skills training, cross-training programmes and development initiatives to help colleagues perform safely and confidently.

Working with site management, HR and operational leaders, you will establish training standards, ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement of learning materials and outcomes across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering operational training within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or retail environment.
• Previous experience leading, coaching or mentoring others.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of operational processes, compliance requirements and colleague development.
• A passion for developing people and creating a positive, high-performing learning culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team to deliver high-quality training across the site.
• Oversee site inductions, training programmes and colleague development initiatives.
• Monitor training effectiveness, competency standards and compliance requirements.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify skills gaps and implement development plans.
• Drive continuous improvement of training materials, processes and learning outcomes.
