Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Senior Operational Trainer to build our new operation from the ground up. You will lead a team of Operational Trainers, delivering inductions, skills training, cross-training programmes and development initiatives to help colleagues perform safely and confidently.

Working with site management, HR and operational leaders, you will establish training standards, ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement of learning materials and outcomes across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering operational training within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or retail environment.
• Previous experience leading, coaching or mentoring others.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of operational processes, compliance requirements and colleague development.
• A passion for developing people and creating a positive, high-performing learning culture.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Senior Operational Trainer, you'll play a critical role in building the capability of our new operation from the ground up. Leading a team of Operational Trainers, you'll ensure the successful delivery of inductions, skills training, cross-training programmes and development initiatives that enable colleagues to perform safely, confidently and effectively. Working closely with operational leaders, HR and site management teams, you'll help establish training standards, manage compliance requirements and support the development of future talent across the operation. • Full-time, permanent positions working any 5 out of 7 days for a 37.5 or 4 on and 4 off, shift patterns to be confirmed
• Salary up to £35,000.00 per annum
• Annual leave 23.5 (4 on and 4 off) or 33 days (any 5 of out 7) inclusive of bank holidays
