Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Stevenage seeks a Senior Energy Engineer to lead energy efficiency and decarbonisation efforts on site, reporting to the Energy Programme Manager.

The role coordinates contractors, manages permit-to-work activities, and ensures projects align with client objectives, safety standards and sustainability targets. The successful candidate will serve as the on-site technical representative, support commissioning, analyse performance and drive improvements within a live GMP

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors undertaking energy and infrastructure improvement works across the site.
• Ensure all contractors comply with CBRE health, safety and environmental standards.
• Review contractor documentation including RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
• Conduct contractor inductions, site briefings and toolbox talks as required.
• Monitor work quality, progress and compliance with project requirements.
• Escalate delivery, safety or quality concerns to the Energy Programme Manager where necessary.
