Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a Senior Onsite AV Technician to deliver and continuously improve audiovisual and video conferencing services across London client sites. You will act as a senior technical resource and escalation point, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, operational excellence, and customer experience for business-critical meetings and events.

You will lead an onsite team, mentor technicians, and collaborate with Service Desk, Engineering, Facilities, and vendors to resolve

Qualifications

• Experience supporting AV and collaboration technologies within a corporate enterprise environment.
• Strong stakeholder management with executives and leadership teams.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of AV and video conferencing services across London client sites, ensuring reliable operation.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex AV, VC, and collaboration technology incidents.
• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support AV and VC equipment and infrastructure.
• Provide high-touch support to executives, stakeholders, and external visitors, ensuring exceptional experience.
• Oversee setup, operation, and support of meetings, town halls, and large-scale events.
• Support events from standard meetings to auditoriums and executive broadcasts.
• Monitor AV/VC environments proactively, identifying risks and improvements.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and technical standards.
• Drive process adherence, governance, and quality assurance across services.
• Mentor and coach other technicians; share knowledge across the team.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Engineering, Facilities and vendors to resolve issues.
• Contribute to project deliveries, room upgrades, and service improvements.
• Ensure services meet SLAs and client expectations, with after-hours support when required.
