Job summary

proAV Limited is seeking a Senior Event and Conference Technician to join our London team. You will take full responsibility for on-site technical support in event spaces, conference rooms and meeting rooms, working with Zoom, Cisco and Polycom systems to ensure seamless events.

You will lead technicians, coordinate with visiting contractors, and train staff while maintaining high service standards across multiple sites, including occasional travel to other locations.

• Senior Event and Conference Technician with leadership experience.

• Comfortable coordinating on-site teams and external contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Event and Conference Technician team and flexible resources.
• Serve as the main point of contact for visiting contractors or subcontractors.
• Maintain positive team morale and professional integrity.
• Own integrated event spaces including high-profile presentations and town halls.
• Train new technicians and oversee ongoing team development.
• Set up and support video/audio conferencing using Zoom, Cisco, and Polycom.
• Manage video calls from booking to completion, including testing and scheduling.
• Prepare equipment for future events and meetings and provide on-site support.
• Coordinate with help desk and operations for backup support and maintenance.
