Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a Site Security Manager to lead security operations at a high-profile retail site in Eastleigh. The role requires daily interaction with stakeholders to ensure safety, continuity, and a best-in-class security service that aligns with client expectations and values.

The successful candidate will manage and develop a mixed-skilled security team, uphold site policies, monitor KPI performance, and keep the client fully briefed on all security issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar corporate/retail security management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing client senior relationships; knowledge of physical security systems.
• SIA licence (Front Line or Non-Front Line) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop on-site security team to deliver proactive service.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders; primary security contact.
• Ensure policy compliance with client requirements and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate incident response and crisis management procedures.
• Maintain accurate reporting and security records.
