Job summary

Mitie Group plc. seeks a dedicated security professional to protect client premises and assets on site. The role focuses on strict adherence to Assignment Instructions, regulatory compliance, and continuous self-development through mandatory training and licence renewals.

You will work to uphold incident reporting standards, conduct checks on schedule, and respond to safety concerns, ensuring high-quality service for the client.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience.
• SIA Licence required.
• SC Clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies and UK law as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Complete all site tasks per published Assignment Instructions.
• Review AI changes and suggest amendments to improve service.
• Obtain and wear the front-line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
• Maintain CCTV PSS SIA Licence as required.
• Renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
• Report Health & Safety hazards on site and act accordingly.
• Maintain professional conduct with challenging customers.
• Record incidents with notebook entries for the Incident Report process.
• Ensure check calls are performed at scheduled times and report incidents.
