Job summary

Advance TRS in Suffolk is seeking an experienced Offshore Agent to lead and control marine and offshore construction packages on a major infrastructure project. You will work with the Package Manager, manage a team of Section/Site Engineers and Offshore Client Representatives, and oversee budgets and supplier interfaces in a high-stakes offshore environment.

The role requires a proven track record on offshore projects, valid CSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS, STCW-95, and a full UK driving licence, with

Qualifications

• Experience as an Agent, Sub-Agent, or Senior Section Engineer on offshore/marine projects.
• CSCS card, SSSTS or SMSTS, STCW-95 and UK driving licence.
• Strong contract change-management, site record-keeping and programme tracking.
• Willing to work unsociable hours around tide and marine operations.
• Desirable ICE/IHT membership or equivalent professional recognition.

Responsibilities

• Package Leadership: own marine work packages from prep to handover.
• Lead and coach Section/Site Engineers and subcontractors.
• Drive HSE, approve RAMS, lead incident investigations and manage ITPs/NCRs.
• Monitor budgets, track costs, support AfP and commercial recovery.
• Produce resourced programmes and 3-week look-aheads; track visual KPIs.
• Coordinate internal interfaces and serve as primary contact for client reps.
