Job summary
The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) seeks a Package Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team on the Sizewell C project, overseeing subcontract delivery, scheduling, and offshore/marine engineering controls. You will drive technical standards, safety compliance, and performance across the package with strong leadership and contract management expertise.
Essential requirements include an Engineering Degree, NEC knowledge, and significant offshore/marine experience.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of NEC and other contract forms.
- Identify technical requirements for offshore/marine development and control.
- Able to review, approve and implement a programme/schedule.
- Able to review & approve safe systems of work for offshore activities.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations.
- Strong leadership and management of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and solution-oriented approach.
- Desirable: knowledge of DCO and MMO license applications.
- Desirable: knowledge of pre-construction processes.
- Engineering degree and professional certification expected.
Responsibilities
- Live the project values and maintain Zero Harm focus.
- Motivate team, manage performance and develop staff.
- Approve method statements and risk assessments; drive improvements.
- Coordinate accident/incident investigations and trend analysis.
- Guide offshore/marine technical requirements and solutions.
- Produce fully resourced stage programmes and monitor KPI
- Lead procurement and management of subcontractors
- Ensure documentation and handover comply with specs
