Job summary

Fluor Corp is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead electrical installation activities and oversee maintenance planning on a large project portfolio. You will supervise O&M staff or direct contractors, ensuring EAWR/BS 7671 compliance and timely fault resolution.

The role requires strong leadership, safety discipline, and the ability to coordinate with project managers and operations teams to meet timelines and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Installation or Maintenance required.
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment essential.
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Maintenance required.
• BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) knowledge mandatory.
• ECS Gold Card or equivalent safety accreditation preferred.
• CSCS/ECS Health & Safety Assessment required for work access.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in installation of electrical systems, wiring, panels and controls.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Diagnose faults and ensure timely repairs.
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to schedule work and resources.
• Provide detailed daily progress reports and raise manpower needs.
