Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd. in Belper (Busy Bees Alton Manor) is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and ensure the Bee Curious curriculum is implemented centre-wide.

You will inspire your team to achieve the highest standards of care and learning. As a senior leader, you’ll mentor Room Leaders, plan and adapt activities to meet diverse needs, oversee wellbeing and safeguarding, and foster strong relationships with parents while ensuring health and safety across the

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children, with adaptations for additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
