Job summary

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Nurse (Band 6) to join the Craven Learning Disabilities Team. The role focuses on children and young people with SEND and complex health needs, delivering specialist nursing care in school, home, and community settings.

You will provide clinical leadership, supervise staff, manage a defined caseload, and work collaboratively with families and partners to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND and complex health needs
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist health and behavioral assessments for children and young people referred to the Children7s Learning Disability Team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions across home, educational, and community settings.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, partner agencies, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and line management to staff within the team.
• Manage a defined caseload and provide supervision within a mobile, cross-site role.
• Deliver clinical nursing expertise to children referred to the team.
