You will lead safety assessments, interact with clients, regulators and a wide range of stakeholders, and shape technical and commercial strategies for system health and robust substantiation.

You will work across defence, nuclear generation, new build and emerging technologies, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a culture of collaboration

• Lead development of safety assessments for the system, including hazards analysis.
• Support strategic decisions across design, commissioning, operations and decommissioning.
• Partner with clients to shape technical and commercial strategies for system health.
• Engage stakeholders to champion system health and regulatory discussions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Atkins Réalis.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop leadership skills.
• Work across defence, nuclear generation, new build, and emerging tech like fusion/SMR/AMRs.
